Strategy and Planning in Action

In this hands-on strategy and planning workshop, Geraldine will give you tools and tips on how to work ON your business not IN your business. Give yourself some time out to hear about effective techniques to build your strategy and take the  opportunity to put some of those techniques into practice. If you think you don’t have time to go to this workshop, you most likely need to attend! You will leave the workshop with a starting point, a toolkit and a process to build your own strategy.

Geraldine Lavin is a director of 3rd i Ltd, a boutique consultancy specialising in providing strategic direction, training and facilitation services for SME business development. After a career spanning 30 years, she knows a thing or two about successfully running a business! Through combining a career in the education sector while also working in business development, Geraldine merges research-led critical thinking and academic rigour with a solid focus on practical application. She has worked with a range of business support organisations to assist their clients at the start-up and development stages of their businesses. These organisations include the Local Enterprise Offices, SOLAS, ETBs, Skillnet Networks, the Small Firms Association, NovaUCD and TCD Tangent. She is also involved in a range of SME and education policy initiatives, most recently the revision of the Leaving Certificate Business Studies curriculum and the OECD Training Strategy Review of Ireland.
