Power Up grant registration extended to
Friday 22 November 2024.
In Budget 2025, the Government announced a new grant of €4,000 called Power Up, to assist businesses in hospitality, retail and beauty sectors.
Who is eligible??
- Retail and hospitality businesses without a 2023 rates bill may qualify, provided they meet specific criteria (check with your local authority for eligibility).
- Businesses that received the second ICOB payment and still meet ICOB qualification
Eligibility requirements include:
Operating as a commercially active, rateable business from a commercial property. Currently trading and committed to remain operational for at least three months post-application (including businesses seasonally closed until Spring 2025). Maintaining an up-to-date business rates account (payment plans are acceptable). Being tax compliant with a valid Tax Registration Number.
If you received the second payment of the Increased Cost of Business Scheme for retail or hospitality you ARE eligible for this POWER UP GRANT through the MYCOCO portal, just follow the instructions provided.
