Mastering the Art of Pitching

With the average human attention span now just under four seconds, you’ve barely said “hello” before someone has mentally moved on. Which is exactly why being able to clearly and confidently explain who you are and what you do QUICKLY has never been more important.

That was the focus of this morning’s “Presenting Yourself & Elevator Pitching” event, where we were delighted to welcome Peter Turley for an energetic, practical session on how to make those first few seconds count.

With attention spans shorter than ever, Peter stressed you need to get straight to the point – the goal is to tell people something they actually want from you, grab their interest, and get them curious enough to ask more.

We worked through real-life examples of pitching with attendees, which really helped bring Peter’s techniques to life. By the end, we believe everyone was walking away with practical tips they could actually use – that are not just tucked away in a notebook.

A huge thanks to Peter Turley for delivering such an engaging, down-to-earth session. Your energy, humour, and practical advice made a potentially nerve-wracking topic feel very doable.

Thank you also to everyone who attended, got involved, and helped make the morning so enjoyable.

Looking ahead, don’t miss our next session: “Sustainable Business Practices” with Gavin Harte. It’s a great chance to learn how to make your business greener, more efficient, and ready for the future. Book your free seat here!
