Personal Information:
bridgeec.ie does not automatically collect any personally identifiable information about you when visiting our site. We only collect personal information when you specifically agree to this by e.g.:

Any personal information which you provide in this way is not made available to any third parties, save as required by law, and is used by bridgeec.ie only in line with the purpose for which you provided it. All personal information that you provided will be treated to the highest security standards by all our staff and is aligned with the Data Protection Act, 1998, the Data Protection (Amendment) Act, 2003 and the Data Protection Act 2018.
You will have the option of amending your personal details at any time or opt-out. As soon as we receive your request your information will be amended accordingly or all records will be deleted.

We will make no attempt to identify individual visitors, or to associate the technical details listed above with any individual. It is our policy to never disclose such technical information in respect of individual website visitors to any third party (apart from our internet service provider, which records such data on our behalf and which is bound by confidentiality provisions in this regard), unless obliged to disclose such information by a rule of law. The technical information will be used only by bridgeec.ie, and only for statistical and other administrative purposes. It is policy of Bridge Enterprise Centres (BEC) to take seriously and give careful attention and a prompt and courteous response to any complaints to ensure the development of a high-quality service, which meets the needs of our stakeholders. All complaints will be dealt with fairly and confidentially. Our service users and staff will be made aware that there is a complaints procedure in operation and will receive a copy of this complaints statement.
Complaints Procedure
1. If you wish to make a complaint you should contact BEC's CEO to discuss and hopefully resolve the matter. Anonymous complaints will not be accepted.
2. Should you still feel that the matter is unresolved then the complaint should be put in writing to the Chairperson of BEC.
3. If you wish to make a complaint about BEC's CEO or a director, your complaint should be put in writing to the Chairperson of BEC.
4. A written acknowledgement of the complaint will be sent as soon as possible.
5. If the complaint is related to the behaviour of the staff, the staff member will be informed that a formal complaint has been made and be given the full details.
6. If you are making a complaint on behalf of a third party, we will need agreement in writing from the third party to act on their behalf.
7. If required, a request may be made in writing to BEC's CEO to have the complaint heard by a wider group. The Board of Trustees will set up a working group to investigate the complaint.
8. Membership of the working group should not comprise of any person directly involved in the complaint or related to the complaint, or staff member.
9. The outcome of the complaint must be concluded within a month (where possible).
10. An agreed written record of the meeting and, where appropriate, a formal letter of the outcome will be issued, within a reasonable period following the meeting.
11. In instances where the complaint involves the welfare of a child/children, the information should be made known as stated in the Child Protection Policy.
12. Confidentiality is of the utmost importance to BEC when dealing with complaints.
13. BEC will make sure that your interactions with us in the future are not negatively impacted because you have made a complaint.
